The characters are definitely a highlight. Shi Yao, the foodie female lead, is endearing in her simplicity and love for all things delicious. Her "blur" appearance hides a sharp mind and a clear sense of self, making her more than just a one-dimensional glutton. Lin Jiage, the male lead, initially comes across as cold and aloof, but his inner thoughts and petty tendencies provide plenty of comedic relief. The contrast between his exterior and interior makes him surprisingly relatable and even lovable.
