First Impressions
Initially, I was drawn in by the premise: a blind female lead with powerful eye abilities navigating a xuanhuan world. The manhua adaptation also piqued my interest, promising a visually engaging experience. However, it quickly became clear that the novel might not live up to its potential.
What Works Well
The core concept of the MC's "scarlet pupil" ability is undeniably intriguing. The idea of her seeing through attacks, discerning the purity of elixirs, and having a photographic memory is pretty cool.
