"Rescuing the Supporting Character" promises a whirlwind of romance, adventure, and a touch of tragedy, and while it delivers on some fronts, my experience was a bit of a mixed bag. The premise is intriguing: a protagonist tasked with "rescuing" characters in various worlds. I found myself drawn in by the initial concept, but the execution left me with some reservations.

First Impressions

The early arcs definitely grabbed my attention. I was particularly invested in the first world, where the angst and the dynamic between the cunning female lead and the obsessive male lead created a compelling tension. The author's writing style, at times, evoked a strong emotional response, even bringing tears to my eyes – a testament to their ability to connect with the reader on a deeper level.

What Works Well

The protagonist's professional yet devoted approach to her missions is a definite highlight. I appreciated her unique attitude and the way she wholeheartedly threw herself into each role. The way he initiated the first kiss was also a major turn-off.
