The premise is classic rebirth revenge: our MC, Yin Chengjue, gets betrayed by someone he supported and ends up dying. Reborn, he decides to change his fate by supporting someone else – cue the obsessive ML, Rong Yu. Right away, the yandere ML aspect grabbed my attention. I'm always a sucker for a well-written obsessive character, and this one seemed promising.
What Works Well
The dynamic between the MC and ML is the real draw here. The ML's character is surprisingly nuanced. He's not just a psycho for the sake of being a psycho; he has a code and genuinely cares for the MC, which adds a layer of complexity. I really enjoyed how the author portrayed his obsession as something masked by a gentle and polite demeanor. Plus, the fact that he can fight? Unexpected and hilarious when he plays the damsel.

I think the revenge plot itself felt a little secondary. While the MC is smart and plans ahead, the story focuses more on the ML's career. Also, the ML's initial boy band debut seems to get brushed aside pretty quickly, which felt like a missed opportunity.
