I went in expecting a fluffy and lighthearted read, and while it definitely has its moments, it also left me scratching my head at times.

The premise is undeniably intriguing. A time-traveling protagonist meeting a naive landowner? It sounds like a recipe for charming misunderstandings and comedic situations. And to be fair, there are glimpses of that. The initial meeting is certainly… memorable, and the idea of a "beast in bed" ML has its appeal.

For a quick read, it does manage to establish the core relationship fairly quickly.
