The premise is simple: Su Mu Yun, our FL, is jilted by her fiancé, Xie Shen Zhi, who falls for another woman. Instead of wallowing, she makes a strategic decision to marry his elder brother, Xie Wang Zhi, who has a less-than-stellar reputation. I was intrigued by this setup and eager to see how the relationship between Su Mu Yun and Xie Wang Zhi would unfold.
What Works Well
What I appreciated most was the FL's character development. She doesn't crumble under heartbreak; instead, she analyzes her feelings and recognizes that her devotion to her former fiancé might have been misplaced.
