My Thoughts on My Simping System
Alright, let's dive into "My Simping System." When I first saw the title, I was expecting a very specific kind of story. You know, the over-the-top, constantly-fawning-over-women type. What I found was... something else entirely.
First Impressions
The premise, as presented, felt a little misleading. The "Simping System" seemed less like a central mechanic and more like a plot device that quickly fades into the background. Instead, it quickly evolves into a tale of true love and protecting your significant other.
What Works Well
The romance aspect is definitely a high point. The relationship between the MC and the Sect Empress is genuinely cute and becomes the driving force of the narrative. I also appreciated the fact that the protagonist isn't building a harem. It's refreshing to see a male lead focused on one person, especially in this genre. The author's handling of the female lead is also commendable. She isn't a damsel in distress and acts like a very cute Tsundere.
Areas of Concern
The comedy, unfortunately, falls a bit flat. It's there, but it doesn't consistently land. The initial setup with the "Simping System" feels abandoned, which might disappoint readers drawn in by that concept. The MC's inexplicable animosity towards the "Son of Luck" also felt forced early on, making him seem unnecessarily antagonistic before there was a clear reason.

Final Verdict
"My Simping System" is a mixed bag. It has its charms, particularly in its focus on a genuine romance, but it also suffers from a somewhat misleading premise and inconsistent execution. If you're looking for a lighthearted story with a strong romantic core and don't mind a system that takes a backseat, this might be worth a read. Just be prepared for the "simping" aspect to be less prominent than you might expect.
