As someone who enjoys exploring unconventional relationships in fiction, I was intrigued, but also a little apprehensive.

The premise is certainly unique. We follow Lou Feiyang, our MC, through his rollercoaster of a love life. The story kicks off with a breakup, quickly escalating into a complex web involving his boss, Shen Chuan, and a bartender named You Yi. It's a whirlwind of secret crushes, manipulative tactics, and eventually, a very unconventional polyamorous relationship. The first-person perspective from Lou Feiyang is a refreshing touch, a viewpoint that isn't always explored in CN danmei.
What Works Well
The chaotic energy of the story is undeniably captivating. The author does a solid job of balancing the heavy themes with moments of levity, making it easier to digest the more… intense plot points. I appreciate that the narrative tackles the complexities of desire and relationships, even if it does so in a rather extreme way. The character dynamics, while messy, are compelling.
