The atmosphere is thick with dread, and the mystery surrounding the planet and its inhabitants is immediately captivating.

The world-building is phenomenal. The author crafts a unique and unsettling universe where humanity has made contact with alien life, but at a cost. The integration of horror elements is masterfully done, creating a sense of unease and disgust that genuinely enhances the story. I found myself completely engrossed in the characters, especially the MC and the ML. The ML, despite being an insectoid alien, is surprisingly endearing and develops a sweet relationship with the MC, even if it starts a little rocky. The plot is intricate, with twists and turns that kept me guessing. The novel explores themes of morality, identity, and the nature of humanity in a way that's both thought-provoking and disturbing. The action is intense, the mystery is intriguing, and the horror is genuinely frightening.
