My Thoughts on Male God is Mine!!
"Male God is Mine!!" is a completed original web novel that I recently dove into, and it was quite the ride. With a blend of fantasy, romance, and even a dash of sci-fi, it’s a story that tries to offer something for everyone. While it might not be a groundbreaking masterpiece, it certainly kept me entertained.
First Impressions
Initially, I was a little hesitant. Some readers found the early arcs shallow and the MC somewhat bland. I can see where they're coming from; the plot does move quickly, and the character development isn't always the deepest. However, I found myself drawn in by the sheer variety of the worlds and the overall concept.
What Works Well
One of the strongest aspects of this novel is the female lead. She's consistent in her morals and principles, which I found refreshing. She isn't easily swayed, and her primary goal of gaining a second life doesn't overshadow her integrity. I also appreciated that the male leads differed in each arc, and the MC didn't automatically fall for them. The system, while sometimes clumsy, adds a unique element, and the connection between the MC and the system is surprisingly heartwarming. The short story arcs help to keep things moving and prevent the story from dragging, which I found to be a big plus.
Areas of Concern
While I enjoyed the variety of worlds, the world-building could have been more detailed. Some arcs felt rushed, and I was left wanting more depth. Also, like some other readers, I found some of the male leads less likable than others, which made those arcs less enjoyable. I also wish there had been more insight into the FL's backstory and the experiments she was subjected to in her original world.
