"Let Me Go, I’m Not Pregnant" is a completed yaoi novel set in ancient China that definitely took me for a ride. With a 3.5/5 rating, I went in expecting something decent, and I came out… well, still a little unsure of what I just read.
First Impressions
Honestly, my initial impression was confusion. The story throws you right into the deep end, and I spent the first few chapters trying to figure out who was who and what exactly was happening. It feels like the story assumes you already know the world and the characters, which can be jarring.
What Works Well
Despite the initial confusion, there's definitely something intriguing about the premise. The historical setting combined with the fantasy elements creates a unique backdrop for the romance.
