Initially, I was drawn in by the premise. The idea of the protagonist going back in time to "save" her future husband had a lot of potential for heartwarming and hilarious situations. The early chapters delivered on this promise, with plenty of youthful energy and sweet moments.
What Works Well
The male lead is definitely a highlight. I appreciated his realistic portrayal; he's not just a cardboard cutout of a perfect boyfriend. He's shown to be vulnerable, craving attention, and capable of making mistakes. This depth made him a character I could root for, even when he stumbled. Some readers also praised the author for delving into his past struggles, which added another layer of complexity to his character.
Areas of Concern
Unfortunately, the novel stumbles quite a bit in the middle. The focus shifts away from the core relationship, and the plot becomes convoluted with less interesting side stories. A particular arc involving drawing and contracts seemed to drag on, losing sight of the initial charm.
