I also appreciated that the original protagonist of the novel he transmigrated into wasn't a jerk, but instead became a friend and admirer.

It would have been nice to see Ji Li face more genuine challenges and experience some setbacks along the way. I also felt the author was a little too in love with the MC, constantly reminding us how beautiful he is and how easily he succeeds.
