I had disguised myself as a man and taken my brother’s place as an Imperial Censor for three years. But, being too timid, I hadn’t dared to impeach a single person. The Emperor scolded me for being useless and hinted that I should find faults with the Regent and impeach him to death. If he didn’t die, then it would be my end. How could I let that happen? To survive, I clung to the Regent like a leech, following him around day and night. Finally, I discovered that he had a secret chamber in his room. But I hadn’t expected that, when I led my colleagues from the Censorate into that chamber with great excitement, we’d be greeted by walls full of portraits of me. And the usually stern-faced Regent, his robes half-undone, was in the middle of doing that kind of thing!

I was immediately drawn in by the premise: a female lead forced to impersonate her twin brother as an imperial official. The setup alone screams comedic potential, and the added element of amnesia for the female lead definitely piqued my interest. I went in expecting a fun, low-stakes story, and that's largely what I got.
What Works Well
The humor is definitely a highlight. The female lead's airheadedness and the situations she stumbles into are genuinely funny. I found myself chuckling quite a bit as she navigated the complexities of court life while trying to avoid revealing her true identity. The male lead is also a strong point; he's devoted and adds another layer of intrigue to the story. The plot twist near the end, which reveals more about the female lead's past and the male lead's knowledge of it, was a welcome surprise that added depth to what could have been a purely superficial story. I appreciated how everything clicked into place, making the earlier confusing actions understandable.

The female lead's initial treatment of the male lead, particularly her actions related to self-preservation after losing her memory, left me feeling a bit uneasy.
