Description
I’m Jubelian? The daughter of the duke and the villainess of this novel? I managed to avoid my death with some previous knowledge about my life, as this was my second time at it. Now, I should be able to live a peaceful life! “I’m not going to marry a man unless he has everything. I want the most wealthy, famous, and competent man there is.” I dreamt of a glamorous life as the daughter of the duke, but my father tells me the Crown Prince who is known to be a lunatic is to be my husband! As an extraordinary measure, I couldn’t help but start a contract relationship. That is, with a handsome side character that looks better than the main one. “Why are you trying to avoid being engaged to the prince?” “He’s scary. I heard that he even kills his own entourage if he doesn’t like them.” A few days later, the prince sent a terrible letter to me. “I will not kill you.” Oh no, did I set up another death trap for myself? —To sort out confusion;Promo artist: Pig Cake1st Novel Cover Artist: N/A2nd Novel Cover Artist: SUNA

Daddy, I Don’t Want to Marry! Review & Spoilers - Novel Translator
My Thoughts on Daddy, I Don’t Want to Marry!
"Daddy, I Don’t Want to Marry!" is a web novel that grabbed my attention with its blend of comedy, drama, and a touch of fantasy. It's a story centered around Juvellian, a duke's daughter who remembers her past life and realizes she was the villainess in a novel she once read. Armed with this knowledge, she attempts to rewrite her fate, leading to a whirlwind of misunderstandings, heartwarming moments, and unexpected romance.
First Impressions
The initial premise is intriguing, playing on the popular reincarnation/isekai trope with a villainess twist. I was immediately drawn to the idea of a protagonist trying to break free from a predetermined narrative. The dynamic between Juvellian and her cold, distant father, Duke Regis, is established early on, creating a compelling hook.
What Works Well
One of the strongest aspects of this story is the character development, particularly that of the male lead, Crown Prince Max. His transformation from a cold, ruthless figure to someone capable of genuine affection is a highlight. I also found the relationship between Juvellian and her father to be both frustrating and endearing. Their constant misunderstandings create a lot of comedic moments, but also touch on deeper themes of family and communication. The author does a great job of showing each character's perspective, which adds depth to the narrative. I definitely found myself laughing out loud at the absurd situations and witty banter. The pacing is well-managed, keeping me engaged throughout.
Areas of Concern
Honestly, the sheer volume of misunderstandings can become a bit much at times. While they drive the plot forward and provide comedic relief, there were moments when I just wanted the characters to sit down and have an honest conversation! Also, I felt that the female lead's pessimism could be a little grating, and the male lead's feelings for her were a little forced.

Final Verdict
Despite some minor flaws, "Daddy, I Don’t Want to Marry!" is an enjoyable read with charming characters, a humorous plot, and a heartwarming core. If you're a fan of villainess stories, romantic comedies, and tales of family bonds, I'd recommend giving this novel a try. Just be prepared for a rollercoaster of misunderstandings along the way!
