Description
“Have you heard? A new demon has appeared in the Jianghu?” “Are you talking about that Shi Laomo, the one who claims to have world-shaking wisdom?” “Yes, that demon! He’s incredibly powerful in martial arts. He often uses a flawed manual to drive entire sects mad, turning them into something neither human nor ghost, completely insane! And he takes pleasure in it!” “I’ve heard similar things! That demon is truly heartless and insane!” Half a divine manual sets Shi Feizhe on his martial arts path! When he finally becomes invincible, when everyone cries out to defeat him, facing the rumors of the Jianghu, he angrily rebukes: “What? I practiced it wrong?” “Impossible! Absolutely not!” “With the same technique, I’m clearly stronger!” “You can’t cultivate it? That’s because your talent is insufficient, it’s your problem! You are the ones who are wrong!” “No one understands martial arts cultivation better than me!” City of Yellow Heaven plunges readers into a world of high-stakes martial arts, treacherous alliances, and the relentless pursuit of power. Shi Feizhe, a transmigrator from a world of mundane office work, finds himself in Yiyang City, newly occupied by the enigmatic Yellow Heaven Path. Determined to forge a different destiny in this dangerous new reality, he stumbles upon a mysterious martial arts manual, the True Origin Sword Finger Formula, setting him on a path of self-discovery and perilous adventure.

Cultivating the Divine Art Wrong, Wreaking Havoc on the Jianghu Review & Spoilers - Novel Translator
My Thoughts on Cultivating the Divine Art Wrong, Wreaking Havoc on the Jianghu
This novel, "Cultivating the Divine Art Wrong, Wreaking Havoc on the Jianghu," promised a wild ride through the martial world, and for the most part, it delivered. It's a story with a lot going on, and while it has its flaws, I found myself strangely compelled to keep reading.
First Impressions
Initially, I was drawn in by the sheer absurdity of it all. The protagonist is this incredibly naive and sincere character who somehow manages to survive, and even thrive, in the cutthroat Jianghu. He's not overpowered, doesn't have a system, and honestly, he's a bit clueless. Yet, that's precisely what makes him so endearing. It's refreshing to see a transmigration story where the MC has to actually work for his progress.
What Works Well
The world-building is definitely a strong point. There are numerous factions with their own agendas, creating a complex web of intrigue. I also enjoyed the humor, at least in the early chapters. The MC's unintentional chaos-causing antics are genuinely funny, and it's entertaining to watch him stumble his way through various situations. The action is great, and satisfyingly, the MC will get his revenge, so you won't be left hanging.
Areas of Concern
As the story progresses, some of the initial charm seems to fade. One of my main issues is the pacing. There are times when the subplots involving side characters feel tedious and disconnected from the main story. I also felt like the comedy isn't as strong later on. Furthermore, there's a point where the MC starts to feel less like the protagonist and more like a supporting character, which can be a bit jarring.

Final Verdict
Overall, "Cultivating the Divine Art Wrong, Wreaking Havoc on the Jianghu" is an entertaining, if flawed, read. If you're looking for a lighthearted wuxia novel with a unique protagonist and a complex world, this might be worth checking out. Just be prepared for some pacing issues and a shift in focus as the story progresses.
