"Bred By An Alien" certainly throws you into the deep end of sci-fi smut with a dose of psychological complexity, and my experience with it was a mixed bag. The premise alone promises a wild ride, and to some extent, it delivers.

Initially, I was intrigued by the futuristic setting and the potential for character growth, especially with a protagonist described as cautious. I dove in expecting a slow burn with some heavy themes, but the early chapters felt a bit clunky.
What Works Well
The author clearly put a lot of thought into the world-building, and the concept of the aliens themselves is unique. I appreciated the exploration of the relationship between the female protagonist and the AI companion. The mature themes are handled with a certain level of depth that goes beyond pure titillation, which is a plus. The promise of a "doting love interest" also kept me hooked, as I'm always a sucker for a good romance angle, even in the most bizarre of settings.
