"Bloom" is a whirlwind of drama, romance, and mature themes that definitely keeps you on your toes. With its female protagonist navigating modern love and wealth, it promises a captivating story. However, my experience with the initial chapters has been a mixed bag.
First Impressions
My first impression was a bit disorienting, to be honest. The story jumps around quite a bit, and I sometimes felt like I was missing crucial context. It felt like I was thrown into the middle of a complex web of relationships and past traumas without a clear roadmap. I found myself backtracking to make sure I hadn't missed anything, which disrupted the flow of my reading experience.
What Works Well
Despite my initial confusion, I can see the potential in "Bloom." The steamy scenes are definitely a highlight – they're well-written and add a layer of intensity to the romance. The male lead seems genuinely invested in the relationship, which is a refreshing change of pace. I'm also intrigued by the hints of the characters' backstories.
