Description
Yu Zao is mischievous, but also a cowardly. After binding to a system, he believes he’s using his golden finger to bully others, not realizing he’s the one being bullied. Part 1: “The Vain and Materialistic Man” He only cares about money. For the sake of money, he bullies the protagonist daily, flatters the villains, and uses his beauty to sow discord, scheming to present himself as an offering. However, when someone actually tries to take advantage of him, he’s so frightened that he bursts into tears. Mischievous but cowardly to the core. Every day, he’s overwhelmed by his own schemes. In the end, he’s always caught and never dares to act vain and greedy again. — Part 2: “The Evil Cannon Fodder in the Apocalypse” He awakens an ability to store supplies, and with a simple touch, he can steal items into his personal space. The longer he’s in contact with someone, the more valuable the items he can “steal.” He switches allegiance between different organizations and isn’t above using his beauty to gain resources. After being touched, he’d even insult the other party, calling them s*upid for not realizing they’d been robbed. But the little thief is eventually caught. Surrounded by a group of men, he’s forced to return the stolen items one by one in front of everyone. He has to state the owner’s name and what he was doing when he took it. Looking dejected, he confesses everything, but his memory is hazy. If he names the wrong person, he gets punished. Every day, he’s working to repay his debts. Yet the amount of stolen goods only increases, and no matter how hard he tries, he can’t repay it all. The poor thing can’t even fight back. — Part 3: “The Beautiful but Visually Impaired Man in the Haunted House” He’s pale, beautiful, but suffers from poor eyesight. Through a matchmaker, he meets an honest man who never minds his frailty, taking care of him with extreme tenderness. To save money, the two newly arrived in the city rent a haunted house with roommates. At first, everything seems normal. Later, the honest man went on a business trip, and the house becomes more frequently haunted. His clothes start disappearing, the atmosphere grows eerie, and he suffers from sleep paralysis every night. The cold sensation feels like a snake coiling around him. He was Terrified. Thankfully, the honest man returned soon after. They smoothly get their marriage certificate, his husband’s career soars, and they move out of the haunted rental. His eye condition also gets treated, and he becomes more vibrant and lively. Everything seems to be heading toward happiness. One day, there’s a knock at the door. The visitor at the door sees him snuggling in another man’s arms and is filled with rage. Puzzled, he leans closer to his husband, not noticing the sudden change in his husband’s expression. It’s only when he sees the scar on the visitor’s hand that he suddenly remembers – his honest husband had a scar, but the man beside him has flawless hands, without any scars. If the man at the door is his real husband… Then who’s the man beside him? — Part 4: “Country Bumpkin” Part 5: “The Edgy Little Anchor” Part 6: “Little Nurse in the Mental Asylum” Part 7: “The Prince Plotting a Coup” — Brief Summary: A little beauty forced to be a heartthrob.

My Thoughts on Black Lotus Forced to Be a Heartthrob
First Impressions
Okay, buckle up, because Black Lotus Forced to Be a Heartthrob is definitely… something. Going in, I knew I was in for a ride, and the synopsis certainly delivered on that promise. It's a quick-wear novel, meaning our MC jumps between different worlds, and each world seems to have its own set of adoring suitors. If you're looking for a story that takes itself too seriously, this isn't it.
What Works Well
For me, the main draw is the sheer ridiculousness of it all. The author leans hard into the "everyone loves the MC" trope, and it's honestly hilarious. The individual arcs are surprisingly detailed. The plot within each arc is well-thought-out, complete with satisfying conclusions. It's a fun, lighthearted read. The MC is a beautiful idiot who bumbles their way through life, attracting all sorts of attention, and the MLs are completely, utterly devoted. It's pure wish fulfillment, a total escape from reality. The humor is definitely a strong point, especially the dynamic between the ML's split souls, who are constantly jealous of each other but never blame the MC for their affections.
Areas of Concern
However, it's not all sunshine and roses. The MC can be frustrating at times. Some might find his naivete and spoiled tendencies off-putting. If you're looking for deep character development or profound emotional arcs, you might be disappointed. There's very little emotional progression until the very end, and even then, it's somewhat rushed. Also, the ending is abrupt.

Final Verdict
Black Lotus Forced to Be a Heartthrob is a chaotic, illogical, and utterly charming novel. If you're in the mood for a lighthearted read where everyone is head-over-heels for the MC, and you don't mind a bit of absurdity, this might be right up your alley. Just go in with your expectations set accordingly – it's pure escapism, not a deep dive into complex themes. I'd recommend it if you want something nonsensical and fun.
