The idea of a calm, clever protagonist focused on making money, rather than cultivating power, felt refreshing. The black-bellied romance with the powerful and arrogant Chu Zhang Ca also piqued my interest.
What Works Well
The humor definitely shines. The interactions between the leads are often hilarious, and the dialogue is sharp and witty. I particularly enjoyed the moments where their contrasting personalities clashed, creating a delightful farce. The female lead's calm demeanor and ability to outsmart her adversaries is also a strong point.
