Description
Yu Qian has bound herself to a Conquest System. System: “You must conquer the protagonists of various worlds and win their love.” Yu Qian draws a beginner’s gift pack and gets a Bloodline Potion. Without hesitation, she transforms into a three-year-old child and uses the potion on herself—becoming the biological daughter of the target. System: “WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!!!” — World 1: The School Tyrant Raising a Child Zai Ye is the infamous school tyrant of No. 2 High School. His parents divorced, leaving him with nothing but an empty house. Arrogant and rebellious, he indulges in reckless behavior—street racing, fighting, you name it. One day, he meets a two-year-old child who looks just like him. Zai Ye smirks coldly: “My dad’s illegitimate daughter?” Then the DNA test results come out. The once-smirking school tyrant completely breaks down: “She’s… my… daughter???” As he watches his long-separated parents pick up broomsticks and slippers, Zai Ye collapses: “I SWEAR I DIDN’T DO ANYTHING! I’M STILL A virg*n!” At the parent-teacher meeting, the perpetually grumpy school tyrant carries an adorable, chubby little girl into the school. His underlings, cigarettes dangling from their lips, laugh: “Yo, Boss, that your little sister?” Zai Ye: “Spit out the cigarette. She’s my daughter.” Underlings: “???” — World 2: The Ice Dragon Dad Raising a Child The Ice Dragon Lacia has lived in the human empire for many years. A learned scholar, he is a renowned professor at the Central Academy of Magic, feared by students for his strictness. One day, he senses a bloodline connection and retrieves a dragon egg to hatch. But when it finally hatches— The baby dragon looks nothing like him. Long and slender, seemingly… mutated? Yu Qian: “I’m a Chinese dragon!”

My Thoughts on Being a Salted Fish Second Generation in Various Worlds
First Impressions
Okay, so "Being a Salted Fish Second Generation in Various Worlds" is quite a mouthful, but the premise instantly grabbed me. The idea of a protagonist transmigrating into different worlds as a child, specifically aiming for familial love rather than romantic love with the target, felt fresh and heartwarming. I dove in expecting a fluffy, feel-good read, and for the most part, that's exactly what I got.
What Works Well
The core strength of this novel lies in its adorable interactions between the MC and her various parents – mostly dads, but a mom appears too! Each arc presents a unique dynamic, from a young, inexperienced "bully dad" figuring out childcare to a powerful Demon Lord learning to soften around his daughter. The author does a fantastic job of making the MC feel like a genuine child, not just an adult mind trapped in a small body. Her reactions and behaviors are believable, adding to the overall charm. I particularly enjoyed how the different arcs started to connect, with past parents recognizing her across worlds, creating a richer, more interwoven narrative. It's a great series if you're looking for something to warm your heart.
Areas of Concern
While I generally enjoyed my time reading, I can see why some readers found certain aspects frustrating. The system, for example, is portrayed as more of an annoying taskmaster than a helpful guide. Also, the endings of some arcs felt rushed and unsatisfying. The author introduces interesting plot points, like the inheritance issues in the first arc, but then sidelines them, leaving me wanting more. The biggest issue for me was the lack of insight into the MC's adult thoughts and feelings. I kept hoping for more glimpses into her perspective beyond the childlike facade.

Final Verdict
Despite its flaws, "Being a Salted Fish Second Generation in Various Worlds" is a worthwhile read if you're in the mood for a heartwarming and often hilarious childcare story. The adorable interactions, the unique world-hopping premise, and the interconnected storylines kept me engaged, even when the system or the rushed endings threatened to derail my enjoyment. Just be prepared for some tears along the way, and maybe keep a box of tissues handy. I'd give it a solid 4 out of 5 stars.
