My Thoughts on Bad Boys Boot Camp
"Bad Boys Boot Camp" certainly threw me for a loop. Going in, I wasn't entirely sure what to expect, but I emerged thoroughly engrossed. This novel isn't for the faint of heart, but if you're prepared for its darkness, you might find yourself as captivated as I was.
First Impressions
The initial setup is brutal. Our protagonist finds himself in a hellish "disciplinary school" that feels more like a prison. We're talking about harsh physical training, abusive instructors, and a constant barrage of bullying. It's a grim environment, and the story doesn't shy away from portraying the harsh realities of this setting. It's intense from the get-go, and it definitely hooked me.
What Works Well
What truly shines is the relationship between the MC and the ML. The male lead's character is a fascinating take on the yandere trope. He's possessive and obsessive, yes, but in a way that's surprisingly… endearing? He becomes utterly devoted to the MC, even carrying him during grueling physical training due to his anemia. The ML's intensity is balanced by his genuine care and protectiveness, making him a compelling and complex character.
I also found myself invested in the side characters, which is a rare occurrence for me. Each character has their own troubled past that led them to the school, adding depth and complexity to the narrative. Even characters I initially disliked eventually won me over as their backstories were revealed.

Final Verdict
"Bad Boys Boot Camp" is a dark, gripping story with compelling characters and a unique take on the yandere trope. However, it contains a significant amount of violence – physical, verbal, and psychological – so it's definitely not for everyone.
