However, I feel it’s important to know going in that the description might be a little misleading.
First Impressions
I was initially drawn in by the premise – a strong protagonist, adopted zombie cubs, and a slow-burn romance set against the backdrop of a monster-filled world. I was expecting a certain level of "cuteness," but the story quickly establishes a more serious and action-oriented tone. This wasn't necessarily a bad thing, just something to be aware of.
What Works Well
The characterization is definitely a strong point. The MC is the kind of guy you root for – capable, kind, but also willing to make tough decisions.
