My Thoughts on A Moment Too Late
"A Moment Too Late" promised a dramatic romance, and it certainly delivered... drama, at least. As someone who enjoys a good dose of angst and a slow-burn romance, I dove in with high hopes, especially given the "shoujo ai" and "yuri" tags. However, I came away with mixed feelings.

The premise is intriguing. The "beautiful female lead" certainly pulls you in, and there's an immediate sense of tension that kept me reading. While I appreciate a character with flaws, I found myself increasingly frustrated by her seeming obliviousness to her own feelings and the impact of her behavior on the other main character (MC). There's a fine line between internal conflict and outright emotional manipulation, and at times, the FL teetered dangerously close to crossing it. Her insistence on maintaining a "straight" facade while simultaneously monopolizing the MC's attention and affection felt unnecessarily drawn out and, frankly, a bit exhausting. It created a sense of repetitive angst that detracted from my overall enjoyment. I believe the author was aiming for slow-burn, but it sometimes felt like slow-torture.
