The initial chapters definitely grabbed my attention. There's an immediate sense of political tension and familial drama brewing, and I was eager to see how the female lead would navigate such treacherous waters. The world-building is decent, painting a vivid picture of the imperial court and the intricate power dynamics at play.

The plot is definitely intriguing. The author weaves together family noble conflicts and state politics into a story with a good flow and plenty of twists.
