The initial chapters threw me right into the thick of things. The instances are well-crafted, with layers of mystery that slowly unravel, which I appreciated. The author does a solid job of building suspense and making each arc feel distinct. However, I did find myself occasionally struggling with the sheer density of information. Each chapter is packed, and the arcs themselves are quite lengthy, sometimes feeling like a mountain climb of details.

I was particularly drawn to the focus on murders and human crimes within the supernatural setting. It's a refreshing change from relying solely on jump scares and monstrous encounters.
