The initial chapters definitely threw me into the deep end of familiar tropes. We've got the orphaned female lead, the handsome and wealthy male lead who falls head over heels first, and a whole host of villains ready to make her life miserable. If you're looking for something groundbreaking, this might not be it. However, if you're in the mood for something light and predictable, it might just hit the spot.
What Works Well
What I appreciated most was the core relationship between the main characters. Many readers praised the lack of frustrating misunderstandings, which is a huge win in my book. The leads communicate openly, and their romance is generally described as sweet and fluffy. The male lead's "shamelessness" is apparently a major draw, with many finding him endearing and devoted.
