Okay, so I went into "The Lovely Baby’s Arrival: CEO Daddy is on the Way" with a hopeful heart, ready for a cute story with family drama. What I found was… a bit of a mess, to be honest. I’m always on the lookout for a good Josei romance, but this one, unfortunately, left me wanting.
First Impressions
Initially, the premise was intriguing. A strong female lead, a powerful CEO, and adorable children – it had all the hallmarks of a guilty pleasure read. However, as I delved deeper, cracks began to appear. The plot felt increasingly convoluted, and the characters started making choices that defied logic.
What Works Well
Honestly, finding positives was a struggle. The idea of familial love and couple growth is present, which is appealing. The "cute children" tag is somewhat accurate, as some interactions are endearing. However, these glimmers of potential are quickly overshadowed by other issues.

The constant "I'll tell you later" trope became incredibly tiresome, creating artificial drama that could have easily been resolved with simple communication.
