First Impressions
Initially, I was hooked. The first arc seemed to promise a fun ride through a Quick Transmigration BL world, filled with the classic tropes of face-slapping, doting love interests, and a clever, cold MC. It felt familiar, but in a comforting way. However, as I delved deeper, the cracks began to show.
What Works Well
Despite some issues, the novel does have its strengths. The "golden fingers" themselves are genuinely hilarious, and the idea of the MC and ML spreading "dog food" wherever they go is undeniably endearing. There's a certain charm to the initial arcs that draws you in, especially if you're a fan of the genre. The romance, while potentially fast-paced, can be quite sweet and fluffy at times.
Areas of Concern
Unfortunately, the novel stumbles in its execution. The second arc felt jarringly incomplete, with the story skipping ahead without proper explanation. This lack of continuity made it difficult to stay invested in the narrative. Furthermore, the writing style shifted in later arcs, becoming more detached and "telling" rather than "showing."
