Description
Wanfeng brought a man home. He was extremely handsome, tall, and had a noble temperament. The only flaw was that he was a fool. Wanfeng taught him how to wash his face, eat, dress, and bathe. One night, the fool grabbed her hand and put it in his pants. “It feels so uncomfortable… can you touch it again?” Wanfeng blushed, “Fool, don’t push yourself too far!” This is a 1v1 high-H story.

My Thoughts on The Fool (Sue Mary)
Okay, so I finally finished "The Fool (Sue Mary)," and I have some thoughts. This novel was definitely a rollercoaster, and while it had moments that I enjoyed, it also left me feeling a bit conflicted. It’s a blend of comedy, romance, and, well, some spicier elements, so buckle up for a potentially bumpy ride.
First Impressions
Going in, I was intrigued by the amnesia trope and the whole rich-versus-poor dynamic. The premise definitely had potential, and I was hoping for a lighthearted, entertaining read. The initial chapters did pull me in with the promise of a sweet and spicy romance.
What Works Well
The author's writing style is undeniably engaging, and I found myself easily swept up in Sue Mary's world. The comedic elements were genuinely funny, and I appreciated the attempts to balance the heavier themes with lighter moments. The chemistry between the leads was palpable, and the spicy scenes were well-written, adding to the overall allure of the story. I also liked the concept of personality changes that come with amnesia and the naive protagonist trying to navigate new circumstances.
Areas of Concern
However, there were aspects of the novel that didn't quite land for me. I found the male lead's actions questionable at times, and his methods of "protecting" Sue Mary felt, at best, misguided. The ending felt somewhat rushed, leaving me wanting more closure and a more satisfying resolution to some of the plot threads. I also felt like the novel could have benefitted from exploring the aftermath of certain traumatic events with more depth and sensitivity.

Final Verdict
Overall, "The Fool (Sue Mary)" is a mixed bag. It has its strengths, including engaging writing, comedic moments, and steamy romance. However, it also suffers from some questionable character choices and a somewhat rushed ending. If you're looking for a quick, spicy read with amnesia and rich-poor tropes, this might be up your alley. Just be prepared for some potentially frustrating moments along the way. I'd give it a solid 3 out of 5 stars. It's not the best thing I've ever read, but it's certainly not the worst, and it kept me entertained, even if it sometimes made me want to throw my Kindle across the room.
