Alright, let's dive into "Spirit Conductor." I went in with moderate expectations, and honestly, the experience was a bit of a mixed bag. There are definitely some intriguing elements here, but also a few areas that could use some serious attention.
First Impressions
The opening, I have to admit, didn't grab me right away. It feels like the author was trying to subvert a typical trope, but it didn't quite land for me. The initial scenes felt a little awkward and didn't immediately hook me into the world or the protagonist's journey.
What Works Well
Once you push past the initial stumbling blocks, though, there are some genuinely interesting concepts at play. The spirit system and the idea of drawing power from them is pretty cool. The power system has potential and I hope it gets further exploration. I also enjoyed the interactions with certain characters, particularly the father figure, Jhuji.
