My Thoughts on Raider, Please Stay!
"Raider, Please Stay!" is a completed yaoi world-hopping novel that I recently dove into, and it's definitely a memorable experience. With a cunning protagonist and a series of handsome male leads, it had all the makings of a fun and engaging read. Overall, I found it to be an enjoyable, albeit slightly flawed, story.
First Impressions
Initially, I was hooked by the premise of a protagonist navigating different worlds and capturing the hearts of various male leads. The world-hopping element is always a draw for me, and I was eager to see how the author would handle the different settings and character dynamics. The tags of "cunning protagonist" and "handsome male lead" definitely piqued my interest.
What Works Well
One of the strongest aspects of this novel is the variety in the male leads. It’s fun to see the MC interact with each ML, adapting to each of their personalities and quirks. The romance, while perhaps quick in its development, is generally sweet and lighthearted. The lack of heavy angst or abusive themes is also a major plus, making it a comfortable and easy read. I particularly appreciated the MC's ability to handle each of the male leads so well.
Areas of Concern
However, I did find some aspects of the story a bit repetitive. The plot can feel a little shallow at times, with the male leads falling for the MC rather easily in each world. There were times when I found myself wanting more depth and complexity in the relationships and world-building. At times I found myself shutting off my brain to ignore some of the plot holes.

Despite its flaws, "Raider, Please Stay!" is a solid choice if you're looking for a lighthearted and entertaining yaoi novel. The diverse male leads, sweet romance, and absence of heavy themes make it a pleasant read. While it may not be the most groundbreaking or profound story, it's definitely a good way to pass the time and enjoy some fluffy romance. I'd recommend it if you're in the mood for something easy to digest and don't mind a bit of repetition.
