"Palace Full of Delicacies" promised a fluffy, feel-good story, and for the most part, it delivered. Also, the MC's agency seemed to diminish as the story progressed, with the ML resolving problems before he even had a chance to address them. This made the latter half of the story feel a bit repetitive and less engaging. The "slice of life" aspect, while comforting, could also be slow-paced and lacking in tension.
