My Thoughts on Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint – Side Story
Alright, buckle up, ORV fans! I dove headfirst into the "Side Story," and I've got thoughts. This feels less like a side story and more like a full-blown sequel, picking up the pieces after that ambiguous ending we all know and love (or maybe love to hate?). If you're craving more of that ORV magic – the constellations, the messed-up scenarios, and the ingenious solutions – this might just be what you're looking for.
First Impressions
Initially, I was a bit wary. Could the "Side Story" really capture the essence of the original? Would it just be a rehash of familiar themes? The introduction of Lee Hakhyun as a new main character definitely threw me for a loop. He's quite different from Kim Dokja; more sociable and outwardly helpful, which is a refreshing change of pace. I was hooked pretty early on, and I'm glad I stuck with it.
What Works Well
One of the strongest aspects of this continuation is how it expands upon the existing lore. We get deeper insights into the 41st regression of Yoo Joonghyuk, and the mysteries surrounding tls123 (Han Sooyoung), the Oldest Dream, and the Secretive Plotter. These reveals add layers of complexity to an already intricate world. The new protagonist, Lee Hakhyun, really shines. His personality is distinct, and his struggles and triumphs are compelling. The story also delves into intriguing new lore, like the Ten Evils and the truth about Asmodeus.
Areas of Concern
It's not all sunshine and rainbows, though. I'm hoping to see more development for certain characters, especially Yoo Mia and Anna Croft. I feel like they have untapped potential, and I'm eager to see them play a more significant role in the narrative. There's so much that could be done with them.

Final Verdict
Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed "Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint – Side Story." It's a wild ride filled with plot twists, heartwarming moments, and plenty of opportunities to shed a tear (or two, or ten). If you're a die-hard ORV fan looking for more content, I highly recommend giving this a read. Just be prepared for cliffhangers and a deeper dive into the complexities of this captivating universe. I'm rating it a solid 4 out of 5 stars.
