Alright, let's dive into "My Dangerous Billionaire Husband." I went in with moderately high hopes, always a sucker for a good romance with a touch of drama. Overall, it was an okay read, but it definitely had some issues that kept it from reaching its full potential.

Initially, I was hooked. The female lead (FL) starts off strong, seemingly independent and ready to ditch the scum fiancé. I appreciated that she wasn't wishy-washy about ending things, which is always a plus in my book. I thought, "Yes! A strong female character!" But, unfortunately, that initial spark faded somewhat quickly.
What Works Well
The premise itself is intriguing. A woman navigating the entertainment industry while secretly married to a billionaire? Sounds like a recipe for some juicy drama and satisfying face-slapping. And when the face-slapping occurs, it is satisfying. I really enjoyed how the author built the world and the initial setup for the characters.

Here's where things get a bit dicey. The FL's character development felt inconsistent. While she starts off strong, she soon gets bogged down in what feels like endless, easily avoidable drama. It's frustrating to watch her get repeatedly insulted and schemed against when a simple announcement of her marriage could solve a lot of problems. I found myself wondering why the male lead (ML) would stand by and watch his wife be treated poorly.

The stupidity of the supporting characters really dragged down my enjoyment of the book.
