I went into Is There Really Such a Good Thing in This World? expecting a lighthearted romp through ancient times, and for a while, that's exactly what I got. The premise, a transmigration story with an apathetic, antihero protagonist, immediately grabbed my attention. The promise of comedy, romance, and a dash of slice-of-life seemed like the perfect recipe for a fun read.
First Impressions
The opening chapters are genuinely hilarious. The comedic timing and absurd situations are well-executed, making for a very enjoyable start. It's the kind of story that makes you chuckle to yourself as you read, and I found myself eagerly anticipating what ridiculous scenario the protagonist would find herself in next.
