I was ready for a blend of adventure, romance, and maybe even some dark humor, but the execution left me wanting.

Initially, I was intrigued by the promise of a charismatic and calm protagonist with a mysterious past. The tags hinted at a compelling narrative, and I was eager to see how the author would handle the complex themes of abuse and redemption. However, the early chapters felt disjointed, and I struggled to connect with the characters.
What Works Well
Honestly, I'm struggling to find significant positives. The initial concept had potential, and the tags suggested elements that could have been engaging. The idea of a system tasker protecting heroines is interesting, but the implementation needs serious work.
Areas of Concern
My biggest issue lies with the plot and character development. The narrative felt rushed and illogical, with inconsistencies that pulled me out of the story. For example, the MC's sudden wealth and abilities are never adequately explained, making him feel like a deus ex machina rather than a believable character.
The romance aspect was also severely lacking. I didn't sense any genuine chemistry between the MC and the heroines, and their interactions felt forced and artificial. Several plot points also felt very disturbing and unnecessary.
