The strength of this novel lies in its charming characters and the sweet, low-key romance between Su Tan and the ML, Hayden Longman. Their interactions are often described as "dog food," which I interpret as delightfully saccharine. I particularly enjoyed the familial aspects of the story, especially Su Tan's relationship with his robot dad and eventually, his robot little brother. The pacing is generally quick, and the story focuses on Su Tan's career as a writer, which is a refreshing change from the typical chef or other transmigration tropes. I also appreciated how the author created interesting perspectives for the MC's novel ideas and it didn't drag on.

I also noticed that some plot points, like the MC's past life, are never fully explored, leaving a sense of incompleteness. And the summary itself can be misleading, the "anorexic emperor" doesn't exist.
