The premise is undeniably captivating: a genius MC, a child born from stolen DNA, and a top-brass military officer in the mix. It screams potential for both heartwarming family moments and thrilling plot twists. The initial chapters do a decent job of setting up this world and introducing the key players, particularly the adorable Zaozao, who nearly stole the show.
What Works Well
The slow-burn romance, while frustrating for some, resonated with me. I appreciated the gradual development of feelings between the leads. The childcare aspect, a core element of the ABO genre, was also a highlight. Seeing the characters navigate parenthood within this unusual situation added a layer of depth and emotional connection. The author does a great job of making you look forward to what will happen to the main characters, and before you know it, you are hooked on the story.
