Initially, I was hooked. The world-building is compelling, drawing me into a complex setting where kings are constantly battling internal and external threats. The ML's inconsistent behavior was also a bit jarring, swinging between anger, loyalty, and even crossing boundaries, making it difficult to connect with his character.
