"Fierce chirp~chirp!" promised a fluffy, feel-good story, and for the most part, it delivered. I went in expecting a light read, and that's precisely what I got. It's the kind of novel you pick up when you need a break from heavier, more plot-driven stories.

The initial chapters were undeniably charming. The protagonist, Qiuqiu, is a ridiculously cute little bird in a family of powerful, doting carnivores. The premise alone had me hooked. I would have loved to see Qiuqiu assert himself more, particularly when it came to his relationship with the ML and his family's treatment of him.
