From the outset, the futuristic setting is intriguing. The blend of advanced technology with almost fantastical elements, like the golden eyes of one of the main characters, creates a world that feels both familiar and alien. I was immediately drawn in by the dynamic between Alfred, the gong (seme), and the eldest prince, the shou (uke). Their relationship, especially the bickering and underlying affection, is definitely a central hook.
