My Thoughts on Captivity

"Captivity" is one heck of a ride. I went in expecting a dark romance, and I definitely got that, but it was so much more complex than I initially anticipated. This short story really packs a punch, leaving me with a lingering sense of unease and a strange appreciation for its twisted beauty. It's not for the faint of heart, but if you're looking for something that will stick with you, this might just be it.

The premise alone is intriguing: a zombie king and his captivated human lover in a post-apocalyptic world. It immediately sets the stage for a power dynamic that's both disturbing and fascinating. What Works Well
