"Baobei Baobei" promised a fluffy, light-hearted romance, and for the most part, it delivered. I went in expecting a simple story and found myself pleasantly surprised by its depth and humor, though some elements did give me pause.

From the initial chapters, I was hooked by the female lead's (FL) directness and the male lead's (ML) smooth, if sometimes overbearing, flirting. The translation quality is commendable, with the translator adding helpful explanations for cultural nuances, which greatly enhanced my reading experience. It felt like sinking into a warm bath of lightheartedness, and I was eager to see where the story would lead.

What truly shone was the dynamic between the FL and her roommates, as well as her interactions with her family.
