Description
During summer vacation, Shen Du and his friend went to a trendy tattoo shop to get tattoos. The shop owner had a face so handsome that it could drive people crazy. For a long time, his friend couldn’t stop talking about it. Then one day, out of the blue, his friend suddenly messaged him: “What do you think that tattoo artist does when he’s free?” Shen Du saw the message hours later. By then, he was sitting with his back pressed against the wall, holding the bread the tattoo artist handed him in his mouth, typing expressionlessly: “Do me.” Voice broadcaster bottom (Shen Du) × Ultimate voice-con tattoo artist top (the other) A story about a sheep walking into the wolf’s den without realizing it. The top is a reserved, somewhat introverted guy who can really play it cool at first.

My Thoughts on Absolute Depth
"Absolute Depth" was a novel I went into with tempered expectations, and I came out feeling like it delivered a fairly enjoyable, if somewhat lightweight, experience. It's a quick and easy read, perfect for when you want something fluffy and not overly demanding.
First Impressions
The premise itself is quite charming: a university student with a captivating voice who livestreams for fun meets a tattoo artist after deciding to memorialize his deceased cat. From there, the story focuses primarily on the burgeoning relationship between our main characters. The initial setup is sweet, and I was immediately drawn to the potential for romance.
What Works Well
The core strength of "Absolute Depth" lies in its central relationship. I found the dynamic between the MC and ML to be genuinely engaging. The ML is portrayed as incredibly sincere and attentive, and I appreciated how he approaches the MC with patience and care. The story excels in depicting the development of their connection, with plenty of cute and heartwarming scenes. The author does a good job of building sexual tension between the two.
⚠️ ### Spoiler Warning
I felt the reveal that the MC and ML were previously acquainted through the MC's livestreaming to be a little underwhelming. While it added a layer to their relationship, it didn't have as significant of an impact on the overall narrative as I'd hoped.
Areas of Concern
While I enjoyed the main romance, I couldn't help but feel that the side characters were underdeveloped. They often felt like they were just there to fill space, without contributing much to the overall plot or character development. I thought the plot was a little flat and unfulfilling.

Overall, "Absolute Depth" is a decent read if you're looking for a straightforward, romance-focused story. While it may lack depth in certain areas, the engaging central relationship and the endearing dynamic between the MC and ML make it a worthwhile experience. I'd give it a solid 3.5 out of 5 stars.
