The premise is intriguing, right? Childhood friends, missed connections, a confession gone wrong – it's classic drama material. I was immediately hooked, ready for some angst and maybe a little bit of heartwarming resolution. The "oneshot" tag also made me think it would be a quick, satisfying read. (Spoiler: It's not a oneshot).
What Works Well
The initial setup is genuinely compelling. The awkwardness of young love and the fear of rejection are relatable themes that the author taps into effectively. The female lead, a beautiful and popular figure, adds an interesting dynamic to the childhood friend trope. The translation quality also seems solid, which is always a big plus. It made the story flow well, and I wasn't distracted by clunky sentences.
