Description
※ Please be aware that this book contains various objectionable elements, including coercive relationships, prostitution, group play, BD*M, etc. Please refer to this before reading. “More, get addicted to me, Melcy. To the point where you can kill me.” Melcy Maxter was the daughter of a prestigious noble family. However, due to an unexpected accident, her parents died and their estate rapidly declined, forcing her to become a prostitute. One day, when she decided to give up everything and end her life, the man who had been the source of her despair suggested revenge. * He l**ked Melcy’s tears and, after stripping off his clothes, ran his fingers over her slender waist before penetrating her with his pen*s. As the pen*s dug deeper inside her, a surge of power coursed through Melcy’s body. “Huhmm. Ah… more… harder…” She was now mixing her body with Rufen by her own will. Despite the despair that had overwhelmed her, she yearned for his warmth. The pleasure and lust he gave her made her forget everything. “Don’t worry about it. Just let our bodies merge, regardless of your feelings.” Rufen kissed Melcy’s lips gently and grabbed her hand tightly, teasing her waist. Melcy couldn’t understand Rufen. Why did he give her hope while saying those things to her? He was the last person she wanted to be involved with if her futile feelings were revealed. What difference would it make if she killed him? “Why are you doing this to me? What happens if I kill you?” Melcy blurted out her confusion. She belatedly observed Rufen’s reaction while biting her lips. Rufen, who was still leisurely moving his waist, seemed far away from anger. “I’ll just die if you kill me.” In Rufen’s following words, she realized the reason she couldn’t bring herself to kill him. “For the sin of not taming you.”

My Thoughts on Untamed Sin
"Untamed Sin" is definitely a novel that doesn't pull any punches. Diving into it, I knew I was in for a potentially disturbing ride, and it certainly delivered on that front. It's a completed original work that's currently being translated, and I can see why it's generating buzz, even if some of that buzz comes with a warning label.
First Impressions
Right off the bat, it's clear this isn't your typical fluffy romance. The tags alone – adult, fantasy, romance, smut, tragedy, and especially the trigger warnings – paint a vivid picture. This is dark fantasy romance with a heavy emphasis on the dark. The European-esque setting adds a layer of gothic atmosphere that really sets the stage for the events to unfold.
What Works Well
The writing itself seems to be a strong point, and I'm grateful to the translator for their work in making the story accessible. Several readers have praised the quality of the translation, which is crucial for a story this intense. The author's commitment to exploring the depths of depravity is also notable, even if it's not always comfortable. If you're looking for a story that pushes boundaries and doesn't shy away from difficult themes, "Untamed Sin" might be for you. The characters, despite (or perhaps because of) their flaws, are compelling. The female lead, while flawed, elicits a certain sympathy as she navigates a truly horrific situation.
Areas of Concern
Obviously, the content is extremely triggering. The presence of themes like abuse, rape, and slavery means this is absolutely not a novel for the faint of heart. The male lead sounds particularly problematic – a yandere archduke who perpetrates some truly awful acts. It's important to go into this story with a clear understanding of what you're getting into.

Final Verdict
"Untamed Sin" is a challenging and potentially traumatizing read. It's well-written and doesn't shy away from its dark themes, but it's definitely not for everyone. If you're prepared for a story filled with depravity and tragedy, and you can handle the intense trigger warnings, it might be worth exploring. However, proceed with extreme caution and prioritize your mental well-being. I'd recommend having a palate cleanser ready afterward.
