Description
A man whose arrogance was as effortless as breathing. The noblest of nobles. A man who would set the world on fire for love. That was my husband, Curtis. I was nothing more than a wife destined to die at my husband’s hand the moment Irvelyn – his ‘woman’ – became his love. Mu*dered by the very man who once called me his, I opened my eyes to the past. Given a second chance, I knew—I had to survive. So I began to play the role of a lifetime. A desperate, one-time performance to escape the man who would kill me again in a year. *** “Dalia, time… Don’t say the time we spent together meant nothing.” “And if it was nothing?” Dalia’s voice was calm, almost detached, her expression unreadable. It was so effortlessly indifferent that it left Curtis speechless. Never in his life had anyone silenced him. No one had ever dared. But now, for the first time, his tongue refused to move. Meanwhile, Dalia’s pale lips – lips that had never spoken freely in his presence – parted, her words as soft and fleeting as a lark’s song. “It was nothing, Your Grace. That time… meant nothing.” A bond is not measured in time alone. Some fall in love in an instant, while others remain strangers even after a lifetime together. “Memories that should have been built over time, something to hold on to…” With a faint smile, Dalia spoke the last words of a relationship that never really existed. “There was never anything between us, was there?”

To You Who Killed Me Review & Spoilers - Novel Translator
My Thoughts on To You Who Killed Me
To You Who Killed Me promises a heady blend of fantasy, romance, and a touch of the supernatural, all set against a European-esque backdrop. The premise, revolving around a protagonist grappling with death and a second chance at life with the man who ended it, certainly grabbed my attention. However, my experience with this novel was a mixed bag.
First Impressions
Initially, I was drawn in by the concept of a "marriage of convenience" twisted by past-life trauma and the potential for a cold love interest to thaw. The idea of a female protagonist navigating a second life, potentially seeking revenge or reconciliation, is inherently compelling. The tags promised a rollercoaster of emotions, fueled by jealousy and the complexities of reunited lovers.
What Works Well
The novel excels in creating a certain atmosphere. The "European ambience" is palpable, and the author paints a vivid picture of the setting. Some readers might appreciate the emphasis on the male lead's handsomeness, though I personally found it a bit repetitive. The initial mystery surrounding the female lead's ability to turn back time also held promise.
Areas of Concern
Unfortunately, the execution didn't quite live up to the initial potential. I found the plot felt somewhat underdeveloped. The explanations for key elements, such as the female lead's time-traveling abilities, felt rushed and insufficient. The villainess was also a weak point. Her motivations seemed flimsy, and her connection to the plot felt forced.

Final Verdict
To You Who Killed Me has an intriguing premise and a well-developed atmosphere. However, the underdeveloped plot, weak villain, and questionable character motivations ultimately detract from the overall experience. While it might appeal to readers who enjoy a focus on aesthetic and don't mind overlooking plot holes, I personally found it lacking in depth and emotional resonance.
