The choice of going back to literally the day before his death felt… odd. Why not aim for a point where he could proactively prevent his downfall? It seemed like an unnecessary handicap, and I was immediately questioning the logic of the main character's choice.
What Works Well
Despite my initial reservations, the story does have its strengths. The action sequences are engaging, and the cultivation system, while not revolutionary, is solid enough to keep me invested. There's a clear sense of progression as the protagonist slowly regains his power and knowledge.
