Description
Shen Tang decided to completely cut ties with Jiang Chengyu. She packed up all her belongings from his villa and took them with her. Jiang Chengyu: “What’s this act about now?” Shen Tang blew out the smoke from between his fingers. The smoke drifted in the air as she smiled lightly. “It’s not an act. I just want to end our boyfriend-girlfriend relationship.” Jiang Chengyu looked at her. “Then what kind of relationship do you want?” While touching up her makeup in the mirror, Shen Tang replied, “A legal marriage. If one day you come begging me to marry you, I might consider it.” Jiang Chengyu suddenly laughed. Beg her to marry him? Quite the attitude. He didn’t believe in marriage—he would never marry anyone. ________________________________________ When her friends heard Shen Tang had broken things off with Jiang Chengyu, they felt sorry for her. “It’s so hard to even know someone from Jiang Chengyu’s circle. And he treated you so well—how could you bear to let that go?” Shen Tang didn’t respond. Precisely because it was so hard—like a mirage—she knew he would never give her marriage. So when she realized she had fallen for him and was sinking deeper, why tie herself up in a cocoon? ________________________________________ A year after their breakup, on her birthday, Shen Tang got a call from Jiang Chengyu. Ever adaptable, Jiang Chengyu said, “Tangtang, marry me.” Shen Tang replied, “Sure. Hold on. A lot of people are chasing after me these days. Let me check what number you are.” She deliberately paused for a few seconds. “Mr. Jiang, you’re number 250. Remember your number—I’ll notify you when it’s your turn.” PS: A bold, realistic, self-loving and dazzling female lead × the second young master of the Jiang family who dotes on her deeply but refuses to get married.

My Thoughts on Submit To Your Love
"Submit To Your Love" is a drama-filled romance that I found myself surprisingly invested in. It's a story about flawed characters navigating complex relationships, and while it wasn't perfect, it definitely kept me entertained. The translation is ongoing, but I'm eager to see how it all unfolds.
First Impressions
Right off the bat, I was drawn to the strong female lead, Shen Tang. She's described as arrogant, and though she's been hurt in the past, I appreciate that the author didn't shy away from making her a complex character. The story dives right into her established relationship with Jiang Chengyu, which was a refreshing change of pace.
What Works Well
The character development, especially Shen Tang's, is a major strength. Her background and how it shapes her actions are explored in depth. What I found particularly compelling was the way the story handles her "lovability." She's almost universally liked, which initially seems like a Mary Sue trope, but the author cleverly uses this to explore how others' perceptions affect her and the choices she makes. I also really enjoyed the dynamic between Shen Tang and Jiang Chengyu. Even their separation is handled maturely, focusing on differing opinions rather than unnecessary drama. The author's writing style reminds me of Danielle Steel, focusing on flawed characters striving for what they want.
Areas of Concern
While I enjoyed the overall story, there were a couple of things that felt a bit off. The shift from the entertainment world to the business world felt abrupt and somewhat random. One moment the FL is an actress, and the next she's dealing with M&A and loan repayments. The transition could have been smoother. Also, I wish the author had explored the ML's change of heart regarding marriage a bit more. It felt a bit rushed and unexplained.

Final Verdict
Despite a few minor flaws, "Submit To Your Love" is an engaging read with well-developed characters and a compelling storyline. The strong female lead, complex relationships, and mature handling of conflict make it a worthwhile josei romance. I'd give it a solid 4 out of 5 stars. If you enjoy stories with flawed characters and a healthy dose of drama, I recommend giving this one a try.
